Sound Edge Application Software
File Menu
New OMP:
Creates a new .OMP file. Displays the new Mapping window.
£For details on the Mapping window, see page 58.
Open:
Displays a dialog box in which you can select the file to be read. You can select three file
types: .WAV, .OPL, and .OMP.
Close:
Closes the active file. If the file has not been saved, a save-confirmation message appears.
Save:
Saves, by overwriting, the currently active file. If the file has not been previously saved, the
Save As dialog box appears.
Save As:
Displays the Save As dialog box in which you can name and save the file. In the Save As
dialog box, you can save an existing file under another name.
File List 1, 2, 3, 4:
Displays the names of the files that were most recently opened. Up to 4 filenames can be
displayed. You can open one of these files without using the Open dialog box by clicking
on the file name.
Exit:
Quits the SampleEdit application.
Menus
Available menus depend on the currently active window.
When the waveform editing window is active
