Assigning OPL Files to Patch Numbers
In the Mapping window, you can assign up to 128 .OPL files to patch numbers as far as free
RAM is available and download them.
1. Click the OPL File name box that corresponds to the number of the patch you want to
assign. A .OPL Wave File List dialog box appears (an example is shown below).
2. Select the .OPL file that you want to assign to the patch number. Click [OK]. The selected
.OPL file is assigned, and the full pathname (filename and directories) is displayed.
£To delete an already selected file from the dialog box, click the [No select] button.
3. Repeat the above steps 1 and 2 to assign all the necessary .OPL files to desired patch
numbers.
Downloading
After assigning the .OPL files to patch numbers, click the [Download] button in the Mapping
window. The data is downloaded to RAM.
Saving .OMP Files
You can save the .OPL file assignment list in the Mapping window as a .OMP file. If you make
a .OMP file, it is convenient to use such a set of wave data as a tone generatoryou need only
open the file and then download it.
