Sound Edge Application Software
£The names of the instrument voices displayed here conform to the GM instrument voices (GM System
Level 1).
£For details on the program change numbers of wave data, see page 48.
Parameters:
Sets parameters such as the MIDI channel for the wave data being used.
1 MIDI Channel:
Sets the MIDI send channel. Valid channel numbers are from 1 to 16. The default value is
channel 1.
2 Octave:
Lets you raise or lower the scale of the entire keyboard, which enables you to change the
range of sound produced by the MIDI soft keyboard. You can raise or lower by a maximum of
three octaves (in full octave units). For example, selecting +1 raises the scale by one octave;
selecting -1 lowers the scale by one octave. The default value is the normal scale without any
octave change.
3 Velocity:
Sets the velocity (the strength or volume level of the sound based on a click of the mouse).
The velocity is from 0 (minimum) to 127 (maximum). The default value is the maximum.
4 OK:
To apply any parameter settings, click the [OK] button.
