About Sample Files

The accompanying sample files which are automatically placed in the \YAMAHA\DATA directory,

contain various types of .OPL and .OMP files. You can select them by opening the File Selection

dialog box using the file [Open] command from the [File] menu, and designating the

\YAMAHA\DATA directory.

¢When a directory other than the C:\YAMAHA\DATA is specified, the .OMP files will not function properly.

The .OMP files are configured to assume a standard Sound Edge installation on the C drive, so if you have installed

Sound Edge in a different directory or drive, you will have to modify the data in the .OMP files.
