6. AirBleeding
CAUTION:Ifthe brake system isdisassembled
orifanybrakehosehasbeenloosenedorre-
moved,thebrakesystemmustbebledtore-
moveairfromthebrakefluid. If thebrake
fluidlevelisveryloworbrakeoperation is
incorrect,bleedthebrakesystem.
1.
Addproperbrakefluidtothereservoir.In
-
stall
thediaphragm,beingcarefulnotto
spill or overflow the reservoir.
2.
Connecttheclear plastic tubetightlytothe
caliper bleed screw.Puttheendofthe tube
into
a
container.
3.Attach
brake
hoses(frontand
rear).
Brake hosetorque:
2.3~2.8m

4. Master CylinderReassembly
Reassemblemastercylinder
as
shownin
illustration.

Slowlyapply the brakeleverorpedalseveral
times.Pullinlever(pushdownpedal).Hold
leverorpedalin

position.Loosen bleed
screw.Allowthepedalorlevertotravel
slowly toward
its
limit.Whenthelimit
is
reached,tightenbleedscrew.
4.Continuestep

until
all air
bubbles
are re
-
movedfromsystem.
NOTE: Ifbleeding
is
difficult,
it
may
be
necessarytoletthebrakesystemstabilize
for
a
fewhours. Repeat bleeding procedure.
