again. Tightentofulltorquespecification
withoutpausing.

1. Checktheclearancebetween housing and
outerrotor.
Standardclearance:
0.09~0.015mm
(0.0035~0.0059in.)
2. Checktheclearancebetweenouterrotorand
innerrotor.
Standardclearance:
0.03~0.09mm
(0.0011~0.0035 in.)
3. Removethe
relief
valveandcheckvalve plung-
ers
fromoilpumpassembly. Check the
plungersforscratches and wear.

The

Hy

Vo
"
primarychain
is
a
plate
-
and
-
pin
type that doesnotuserollers
as
in thecase
of
a
conventionalmotorcycledrivechain.The
platesofthechainform
a
matingsurfacefor
the primary gearteeth.That
is,
the primary
gears
actuallymeshwiththechainplates.This
chain
is
extremelydurableand,undernormal
conditions,canbeexpectedto
last
the
life
ofthe motorcycle engine.However,
if
obvious
damage
is
causedthroughseriousoilstarva
-
tionorabrasiveoilcontamination,thechain
shouldbereplaced.

ClutchDamper
a
Removecirclipusing
a
pressand special tool.
Presstooloncollarnomorethannecessaryto
removecirclip.Damper springs maybedam
-
aged
if
excessivepressure
is
applied.
b.Inspectdampercam and pinsurfaces.Check
forsmoothcamaction
(as
illustratedby
arrows).Checkforexcessivewearoncamand
pinsurfaces.
If
operation
is
notsmoothorcam
surfacesareseverelyworn,replace damper
assembly.
c. Inspectplatewasherandthrustbearingfor
wearordamage.Replace
as
necessary.
