INSTALLATION FRONTBRAKE

NOTE:

Reverse the =Removal" procedure. _ Disc _ Pad spring Be sure to install the pads correctly.

Note the following points. ® Bolt ® Pad retainer

1. Lubricate: _ Caliper _) Brake pads

• Front wheel axle _ Piston _i_O. ring

• Bearings @ Piston seals @ Bolt

• Oil seal (lips) _ Air bleed screw @ Mounting bolt

- Drive/driven gear (speedometer)

Lithium soap base grease D_ _ 3.Omm

2. Install: | 6 Nm (0.6 m.kg, 4ft.lb)l

• Speedometer gear unit C)

NOTE: -- _'_ _[ ....... ]

Be sure that the two projections at the gear unit I _ \ _'_ I /21.SNm(2.15m.kg, 16ft.lb)l

mesh with the two slots on the wheel hub. _.._% 00_)/_ /

• Front wheel 0 /

• Front caliper (_) _ ':,_i "

k_)_ l NOTE:

Be sure that the slot (torque stopper) of the gear

unit housing is positioned correctly.

4. Tighten:

° Front wheel axle

o Front caliper mounting botts

I_ I Front wheel axle:
