oBrake pads Removal steps:
Pad spring _ _ _J_O Z Blow compressed air into the hosejoint open-
oAxle 'oo_ ing to force out the piston from the caliper

Be careful to install the brake pads correctly. _'_' _ _ Never try to pry out the piston.
'\ _ _,_o. Cover the piston with a rag. Use care so that
the piston does not cause injury as it is
5. Lubricate: expelled from the cylinder.

Mountingbolt: MASTERCYLINDERDISASSEMBLY
I 23 Nm (2.3 m.kg, 17 ff.lb) NOTE:
Before disassembling the front brake master
cylinder, drain all brake fluid from the brake
hose, master cylinder, brake caliper and reser-
voir tank.
1. Remove:

drain all brake fluid from the brake hose, master Brake switch

(_) ° Copper washers(_) Release the brake switch by pushing with a
screw driver into the hole on the lower side of the

Place the open end of the drain hose into a
container and pump out the remaining brake 3. Remove:
