O STANDBY/ON

Turns this unit on, or set it to the standby mode. When

you turn this unit on, you will hear a click and there will

be a 4 Io 5-second delay before this unit can reproduce

sound.

Standby mode

In 1his mode, this unit will consume a small amount of

power in order to receive infrared-signals from the

remote control.

O Disc tray

The disc you play is loaded on this 1ray.

Press Io open and close the disc tray.

Press to stm't playback.

0 D (AIBICIDIE)

(DVD mode)

Press 1o stop playback.

(Tuner mode)

Selects preset station groups A Io E.

O (PRESET/BAND)

(DVD mode)

Press lo pause.

(Tuner mode)

Swilches the reception band between FM anti AM and

also the mode between the tuning mode and the preset

mode.

PRESET/TUNING A)

(DVD mode)

Each time these buttons are pressed, the disc begins

playing from the beginning of the track you select. When

you keep pressing the buttons, the disc searches forward

or backward.

(Tuner mode)

Selects preset stalion numbe_:_ 1 1o 8 when the colon (:)

appears in the front panel display.

Selects the tuning frequency when the colon (:) does not

appear.

O PROGRESSIVE (MEMORY) (U.S.A. and

Canada models)

(DVD mode)

Swilches between progressive video oulput and inlerlace

video oulput.

(Tuner mode)

Slores 1he current station in the memory.

MEMORY (U.K., Europe, Australia and

General models)

(Tuner mode)

Slores Ihe current station in the memory.

O DISC DIRECT (AUTO/MAN'L)

(DVD mode)

Changes the modes of DISC DIRECT function.

(Tuner mode)

Swilches the tuning mode between automatic and manual.
