Slow-motion play

Press [6, 5 SLOW/SEARCH] or

[6 SEARCH 5] while paused

³Each press increases the speed of slow-motion.

³There are five speeds of slow-motion.

To return to normal play

Press [1 PLAY].

³When [6, 5 SLOW/SEARCH] or [6 SEARCH 5] on the

player is pressed during menu play of Video CDs with playback

control, a menu screen may sometimes be recalled.

Rapid advance (Rapid reverse)

Press [6, 5 SLOW/SEARCH] or

[6 SEARCH 5] during play.

³Each press increases the speed of the search.

³There are five speeds of advance (reverse).

To return to normal play

Press [1 PLAY].

³When [6, 5 SLOW/SEARCH] or [6 SEARCH 5] on the

player is pressed during menu play of Video CDs with playback

control, a menu screen may sometimes be recalled.

³For DVDs and Video CDs, audio will be heard during searching (for-

ward direction only) at the initial search speed. (To turn audio off,
