Detailed Settings
Function Parameters — Various Convenient Settings
If the song cannot be loaded, you may need to change the
character code setting.
Setting range: Int (International)/JA (Japanese)
Default setting: Int
These settings and Songs in the USER MIDI drive data
are combined into one file (extension: .bup) and loaded
to a USB memory device. Also, files contained in a USB
memory device can be read into this instrument for
loading these settings and playing Songs.
1. Connect a USB storage device.
2. Call up the Function mode and select the
function number.
3. Press the [+/YES] button to execute saving or
lording. (Press the [+/YES] button twice when
loading.)
will appear on the display when the
data has been successfully saved or loaded.
NOTICE
During backup data saving/loading, do not turnoff the power. If you
turn off the power during these operations, data will be lost.
Save
Backup data (main settings and Songs in the USER
MIDI drive) are stored to a USB memory device.
Backup file names
CLP-470: clp-470.bup
CLP-440: clp-440.bup
CLP-430: clp-430.bup
CLP-S408: clp-s408.bup
CLP-S406: clp-s406.bup
CLP-465GP: clp-465gp.bup
Load
The backup data (main settings and Songs in the USER
MIDI drive) saved to a USB memory device are loaded
into the Clavinova and restored to their original state.
When the operation is complete, the instrument will be
restarted automatically.
