ToP-ART Sound Quality Design
Yamaha’s ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology)
design concept uses a symmetrical layout for lowest possible
noise and interference. The ART Base chassis and centre bar
reinforces the internal structure to further prevent vibration
from affecting sound quality. The quality of each individual part,
as well as how they work together, basically determines the
sound quality of any component. We use the highest quality
parts, carefully selected and tested.
The Look and Texture of Quality
All of the Yamaha HiFi components feature the same sleek,
clean design, with an elegant aluminium front panel and silky
touch volume/selector knobs. The aluminium front panel is
used to effectively shield sensitive low-level circuitry from
external noise and electronic radiation generated by dimmer
switches, fluorescent lighting, video monitors and so on. This
ensures optimum sonic performance in the widest range of
installation environments.
Exclusive Yamaha Loading Mechanism with Superior
Quietness and High Precision CD Drive
The mechanism that picks up the signal is actually analogue, even
during the digital reproduction of a CD. So, its degree of precision
has a surprisingly large effect on the reproduction of the digital
signals and the final sound. Yamaha CD players feature the
Exclusive Yamaha Loading Mechanism with Superior Quietness
that solidly supports the CD drive, and a highly reliable brushless
spindle motor. The aluminium disc tray provides a luxurious touch
matched to the superb sound quality.
Fine Music in the Yamaha Tradition
HiFi Components that revive and refine the superlative audio quality that made Yamaha famous.
