New/Updated Functions
This manual can be used with your ELS-01/01C/01X Owner’s Manual. To fully
understand the new or updated functions, simply replacing the relevant part of your
Owner’s Manual with the instructions in this manual.
1. M.D.R. Display/Score Display
The M.D.R. display has been changed significantly, giving you greater and more
intuitive control over the songs and storage media
The [SCORE] button has been added to the SONG Page, allowing you to display the
score (notation) while recording/playing back a song.
2. Registration Memory Copy
The Regist Section Copy Page has been added to the Voice display.
A specific Registration saved to a registration number can be copied to another
Registration number for each specific Voice section.
3. Rhythm Sequence Copy
The Sequence display has been changed.
A specific rhythm sequence can be copied to another sequence or added to the end of
another rhythm sequence.
4. Sustain Settings
The Sustain Length display has been changed. The sustain effect can now be set more
precisely.
While in the previous versions sustain could be set for three Voices (Upper and Lower
Keyboard and Pedalboard), version 1.7 allows settings for eight Voices (or six on the
ELS-01).
If some Voices are set to HOLD, they will sound continuously even when the keys are
released.
