Configuring various functions (SETUP menu)
ADVANCED
OPERATION
Standby (Network Standby)
Selects whether the unit can be turned on from other
network devices (network standby).
Network Name
Edits the network name (the unit’s name on the network)
displayed on other network devices.
1 Select “Network Name”.
For information on selecting a menu option, refer to
the steps described on page 45.
2 Press ENTER to enter the name edit display.
3 Use the cursor keys ( / ) to select a
character and ( / ) to move the edit
position.
You can insert / delete a character, by pressing
PRESET i (insert) or PRESET j (delete).
4 To confirm the new name, press ENTER.
5 To exit from the menu, press SETUP.
Update (Network Update)
Updates the firmware via the network.
Configures the Bluetooth settings.
On/Off
Enables/disables the Bluetooth function (p. 34).
Standby (Bluetooth Standby)
Selects whether to enable/disable the function that turns
on the unit from Bluetooth devices (Bluetooth standby). If
this function is set to “On”, the unit automatically turns on
when a connect operation is performed on the Bluetooth
device.

This setting is not available when “Standby (Network Standby)”
(p. 47) is set to “Off”.
Audio Receive
Receives audio data from the Bluetooth device.
Off Disables the network standby function.
On
Enables the network standby function.
(The unit consumes more power than when “Off”
is selected.)
Auto
(default)
Enables the network standby function. The unit
enters power-saving mode eight hours after it is
disconnected from the network.
Perform
Update
Starts the process to update the unit’s firmware.
For details, see “Updating the unit’s firmware via
the network” (p. 51).
Version
Displays the version of the firmware installed on
the unit.
ID Displays the system ID number.

Bluetooth
Off Disables the Bluetooth function.
On (default)
Enables the Bluetooth function. Immediately
after selecting the “On”, output of the network
source is paused.
Off Disables the Bluetooth standby function.
On (default)
Enables the Bluetooth standby function. (The
unit consumes more power than when “Off” is
selected.)
Disconnect
Disconnects the connected Bluetooth device. To
disconnect the Bluetooth device, press ENTER.
