Changer/Receiver

he DVX-C300 is a complete home theater

solution equipped with a stylish five-satellite-

speaker package and 150W subwoofer. It also

includes a combination progressive scan 5-disc

DVD and a A/V receiver in slim unit. The system

delivers 900 watts of total power (150-watts x 5,

plus the subwoofer) and offers a selection of 8

(four movie and four music )surround sound

programs tailored to specific sound sources.

Compatible with DVD-Audio/Video, SA (Super

Audio) CD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW discs. Also compatible with MP3, JPEG, DivX and WMA (Multisession) file formats.

DVX-C300 Speakers

◆ Includes five magnetic-shielded 2-way speakers (front, center, surround) for exceptionally rich

surround sound. The front and surround speakers have a 2-1/2˝ woofer and 1˝ tweeter. The cen-

ter-channel speaker has two 2-1/2˝ woofers and a 1˝ tweeter. The front and center-channel

speakers can have their grill cloth removed.

◆ The 150-watt subwoofer incorporates a 6-1/2˝ drive and Advanced YST technology to deliver it’s

earth shattering sound from a compact enclosure. It maintains speaker impedance at zero to

eliminate unwanted resonances, ensuring that sound pressure levels ae maximized with no

addes distortion.

◆ Choose from 8 surround sound programs

tailored to specific sound sources: four

movie programs (Sci-Fi, Action, Drama and

Concert) and four music programs (Digital,

Rock, Jazz and Classic). Dolby Digital, DTS

and Dolby Pro Logic II decoders mean you

can use any of these popular formats.

◆ Independent 7-band bass and treble con-

trols and 30-station presets.

◆ 5-disc carousel DVD changer for long play-

ing time and direct selection from all discs.

PlayXchange lets you change discs while the

current one continues to play. You don’t

have to stop the movie or music to change

a disc and you can change more than one.

Plus, press stop, the tray opens all the way,

allowing you to change all five discs at once.

◆ The DVX-C300 makes operation extremely

simple by displaying a variety clearly under-

standable GUI menus right on the monitor

screen. It’s easy to select and adjust any

desired function with the remote control.

◆ Uses CD Upsampling to raise the CD sam-

pling rate for richer, more accurate sound

reproduction.

◆ Zoom, rotate, flip and scan JPEG images

◆ You can adjust the picture with Brightness,

Contrast, Tint and Color controls to ensure

you get the best image quality with each

video source and type of room lighting.

◆ Other features include Night Listening

mode, CD text display, 3-step dimmer, timer

and disc lock function and 5-disc memory.

DVX-C700

This system is identical to the DVX-C300

except it includes five magnetic-shielded

speakers (front, center, surround) with

high-grade MDF cabinets for exceptionally

rich surround sound.

The front speakers have a 6.5˝ woofer and

3/4˝ tweeter, the surround speakers have

a 3˝ woofer and 1/2˝ tweeter. The center-

channel speaker has two 3˝ woofers and

a 3/4˝ tweeter.
