This unit equips three types of video jacks as follows:
1. VIDEO jack
This jack transmits conventional composite video signal. Connect this jack
to your AV amplifier so that you can switch the both audio and video inputs
at once.
2. S VIDEO jack
This jack transmits color and luminance separately and achieves high
quality color reproduction. Connect this jack to your television using a
commercially available S-Video cable. If your AV amplifier equipped with S
VIDEO input and output jacks, connect to the AV amplifier so that you can
switch the both audio and video inputs at once.
For U.K. and Europe models
3. AV (SCART) jack
This SCART jack can output RGB component signals and provides the
best quality picture. Connect this jack to your television.

Except for U.K. and Europe models
3. COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks
These jacks transmit color difference and luminance separately and
provide the best quality picture. Connect these jacks to the corresponding
jacks of your television. If your AV amplifier equipped with COMPONENT
VIDEO input and output jacks, connect to the AV amplifier so that you can
switch the both audio and video inputs at once.
Note
Do not connect this unit to a television through a video cassette recorder.
If you do so, the picture may not be played back properly due to the
