Yamaha AV Receivers are the perfect control centres for a home

entertainment network. Their network functions include support for

FLAC 96/24 (high-quality lossless format), compatibility with

Windows 7 and DLNA 1.5 (for finding and playing digital sources)

and Web Browser Control from a PC or PDA.

With an all-new look and feel, Yamaha’s latest GUI offers a greatly improved

operating experience. Designed to support HD and 3D video sources, it also

provides fade and motion effects. New features include Content Browsing window

and Option button on remote.

These sophisticated AV Receivers have bi-amping

capabilities so you can add an external amplifier to

achieve a wide variety of system configurations

beyond the standard 5.1- or 7.1-channel systems.

The SILENT CINEMA mode allows private listening enjoyment of multi-channel music or

movies, with an accurate simulation of surround sound, through ordinary headphones.

Adaptive DRC (Dynamic Range Control) ensures that you hear the maximum dynamic

range at all volume levels.

Yamaha AV Receivers allow the creation of separate AV zones, so people in different rooms

can enjoy music or movies. There are a wide range of customisation possibilities, such as

assignable zone video output for creating a second high-quality home theatre. Special

features include a Party mode for playing the same music in all rooms, Zone GUI which

gives you a comprehensive interface in the second video zone, and system backup.

Yamaha offers three optional upgrades to expand your musical

choices: the YDS-12 Universal Dock for iPod/iPhone, the YID-

W10 AirWired Wireless Dock System for iPod/iPhone, and the

YBA-10 Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver.
