Tested USB flash memory list for M7CL, LS9, CL series

Yamaha Corporation

A USB flash memory can be used for saving/loading data, updating the firmware in M7CL, LS9

and CL series, and recording/playing back audio files such as MP3 in Yamaha LS9 and CL series

mixing consoles.

These functions require the following USB flash memory specifications.

• The maximum capacity is 16GB.

• The compliant format is FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32.

Some USB flash memories may not work properly on the console.

To help users find a working USB flash memory, Yamaha has provided a list of tested memories.

However, please note the following points.

- The list is a result of a few basic tests, so please note that we assume no responsibility

whatsoever for any damages resulting from the use of the USB storage devices listed in

the “Compatible list”.

- With respect to the USB storage devices listed in the “Compatible list”, there is a

possibility that the specifications of the devices may be changed by the manufacturer and

such change may cause incompatibility.

- Please refer to each manufacturer for the specification of each USB storage device.

- The devices listed have passed Yamaha’s basic tests.
