Preparing the CRW-F1 Drive

Refer to the examples of connecting the CRW-F1 drive on page 12, and set the

CRW-F1 drive to master/slave to support your computer environment.

Set the plastic shunt at the jumper switch on the rear panel

with narrow pliers.

The position to be inserted the plastic shunt varies depending on the setting.

2 Set the Jumper Switch

The CRW-F1 drive is set at slave by default.

When replacing an IDE device (master) with the CRW-F1 drive, set the

drive to master.
