Floppy Disk Save and Load

PSR-450 Owner’s Manual

Select the ﬁle you want to load.

Use the [+] and [–] buttons to select the name of the ﬁle you want to load.

Press the [EXECUTE] button.

Execute the load operation.

Press the [+/YES] button to begin execution of the load operation. “Loading”

will appear on the display while the ﬁle is being loaded.

You can abort the load operation by pressing the [–/NO] button.

Exit from the load mode by pressing the [LOAD] button.

“Complete” will appear on the display when the load operation has been com-

pleted.

This operation deletes a selected ﬁle from a ﬂoppy disk.

Insert the ﬂoppy disk into the disk drive.

Insert the ﬂoppy disk containing the data you want to delete.

Press the [UTILITY] button.

A ﬁle name will appear on the display.

• If the disk contains no ﬁle, the

display shows “No ﬁle” indicat-

ing that the Load function is not

possible.

• While the ﬁle is being loaded

(“Loading” message appears

on the display), never eject

the ﬂoppy disk or turn the

power off.

• When data is loaded from a

ﬂoppy disk to the PSR-450, the

data already in the memory of

the PSR-450 will be replaced

by the data on the disk. Save

important data into a disk ﬁle

before doing the operation.

• If the [UTILITY] button is

pressed when there is no ﬂoppy

disk inserted into the disk

drive, a “No disk” message

appears at the top of the dis-

play, and all disk operations will

be disabled.

• When the ﬂoppy disk’s write-

protect tab is set to ON (see

page 6) or the disk is a pur-

posely “copy-protected” disk, a

“Protect” message appears,

indicating that the Delete func-

tion is not possible.

• Only ﬁles that were created on

the PSR-450 and were saved

as ﬁles (User song, etc.) can be

deleted. When there are no

ﬁles on disk that the PSR-450

can delete, the FORMAT dis-

play appears instead of

DELETE, when the [UTILITY]

button is pressed.

NOTE

A user ﬁle is selected.

SMF ﬁles appear as “d-s”.
