In order to make the most of the advanced features and performance provided by your guitar,
please read this manual carefully before using the instrument.
Note that this manual covers only the electronic parts of this product. For information on the
other non-electronic parts, refer to the separate Acoustic Guitar Owner’s Manual.
Nomenclature / Controls
The built-in preamplifier is automatically turned ON when a guitar
cable is connected to the output jack. Always set the volume to its
minimum level when connecting or disconnecting the cable.

Controls the volume.

Status Display 3 Color LED
Indicates status of the AFR function, SRT type, remaining battery power, etc.

2-Band Equalizer (Bass, Treble)
Level adjustments for the low frequency (Bass) and high frequency (Treble) ranges.

Mic Type Switch (Mic. type 1/2)
Selects the simulated mic type used in the SRT function. Each press of the switch (Blend
knob) toggles between Mic. type 1: Condenser and Mic. type 2: Ribbon.

Blend Control
Controls the mix level of signals received from the pickup and the simulated mic. Rotate fully
to the left for 100% pickup signal and fully to the right for 100% simulated mic signal.

AFR (Auto Feedback Reduction) Switch
If you experience problem feedback while performing, follow the AFR setting
instructions below to effectively control the feedback.
1. When feedback occurs, press the AFR switch (Bass control knob) after all sound other than
the feedback has been muted.
2. The system automatically detects the frequency causing the feedback and applies a –12dB
notch lter.
* The system may not be able to detect the problem frequency if two or more sounds
are present at the same time.
3. Pressing this switch when the AFR system is active (
w
LED is lit green) switches the AFR
function OFF. Alternatively, switch off the power (unplug cable from output jack) to cancel all
notch lters.

Sound Hole Cover (included)
Inserting the sound hole cover into the sound hole effectively reduces feedback.

Replacing the Batteries

Slide the tab on the endpin section in the direction indicated by the arrow in the diagram
below to release the lock, then pull out the battery holder.

Insert two AA batteries making sure that the battery poles are properly aligned with the
polarity markings on the battery holder.

Slide the battery holder back into the endpin section until it locks.
* When using nickel metal-hydride batteries, take care not to damage the battery
casing or poles when installing and removing the batteries.
