2 Display Mode

If “Normal 4:3” is selected on the item “1 TV Type”, select the

display mode (Letter box or Pan & Scan) for a video source of

wide screen type.

1 When the SET UP group “DVD Settings” is selected,

press or to select “2 Display Mode” and then

press SELECT.

2 Press or to select the preferred mode (1 or 2),

and then press SELECT.

1 Letter Box A video source is played back in the

letter box style. (Black bands appear

at the top and bottom of the screen.)

2 Pan Scan A video source formatted in the Pan

& Scan style is played back in that

style. (The left and right edges are cut

off.)

* A video source not formatted in the

Pan & Scan style will be played back

in the letter box style.

Factory default setting: Letter Box
