Setting the clock
You can set the clock by using the remote control directly.
The clock appears on the front panel display.
1 Press TIMER.
2 Press ENTER.
3 Set hour and minute by pressing 5 /a .
Press 2/3 to switch the hour or minute setting.
4 Press ENTER to complete the setting.

When setting the clock, you can also use the Numeric buttons
to enter the hour and minute. To confirm the entry, press
ENTER. To clear the entry, press CLEAR.
The time setting will be lost if you disconnect the power cable
from the wall outlet.
Setting the timer
The timer sets this unit to play back the source at the time
you set.
1 Press TIMER.
2 Select desired setting items (OnTime/Period/Source/
Volume) by pressing 5/a .
3 Press ENTER to confirm the item.
4 Change the settings by pressing 5/a or Numeric
buttons.
5 Press ENTER to confirm the setting.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 to set each setting item.

To clear the entry, press CLEAR.
The settings of the timer are retained.
The following describes the flow of timer setting.

Set the desired time to execute the timer.
Period (playback time)
By selecting [– – –], playback time is endless.
Set the Source or preset number
If the source is not set properly, the timer sound
will not be heard. Make sure that the source is
set properly.
CD:
When you select the CD as a source, this unit
resumes the music that you were listening to
last time.
iPod:
When you select the iPod as a source, this unit
resumes the music that you were listening to
last time.
FM:
Set preset number.
By selecting [– – –], the FM station you set last
time is set.
